Alicia Walter is a chef, educator, speaker, writer, and former farmhand. She is currently the Chef and Co-Owner of Once Upon A Tart in Soho, NYC. She was formerly the Chef of Private Dining at Vetri Ristorante in Philadelphia and the Resident Chef of La Scuola at Eataly.
Recently a featured chef at the James Beard House in Manhattan, Alicia has taught over 500 cooking classes at Vetri Ristorante, Eataly NY, Del Posto, New York Botanical Gardens, with the International Olive Oil School and out of her Airstream trailer. She has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, InStyle.com, Vogue.com, Real Simple, Eating Well, Vegetarian Times and Muscle and Fitness magazines. Alicia was formerly a Food Scholar and Longhouse Chef-in-Residence at Molly O'Neill's One Big Table in upstate New York. Alicia has a certificate in Advanced Food Policy and Sustainability from the University of Gastronomic Studies in Bra, Italy and a BA in Liberal Arts.
